Everyone looks back to their high school years with unmitigated fondness. Unless, of course, you were mocked mercilessly by your peers and were some kind of social outcast who only plots revenge night after night....

Luckily, I was not one of those people. Here are some images from near the end of my term at West Catholic High School.
That's Dan and I right after graduation. Dan already has facial growth.

I think its some kind of requirement that the minute you leave a Catholic school (and you are male) that you must grow every kind of hair imaginable on various locations of your face.

There's Dan and Ann. Notice that all of Dan's hair is concentrated on his head, not his face. This would be the "Here's My Heart" Dance.

I'm not sure what that means exactly.

Pop Quiz: Is Dan just headbanging or is he having intestinal complications?
Ann, Dan, and Me again. This was taken during the senior party. It went on right after graduation. It was pretty cool. It was held right at Grand Valley.
There's Elwira (with a "W" d*** it!! She's clobber you if you make that mistake)

She went to Grand Valley for a while, but the rumor mill has it that she has a baby now. But you didn't hear that from me. (oh wait, yes you did)

There's Dan Schneider on the left and Mike Milanowski on the right. They are both very much dorks.

Mike is attending Kettering University to become an engineer or something. Dan is off doing his Dan thing I'd imagine.

There's me strangling Chris. He was nonchalant. Chris had a massive "Simpsons" quote vocabulary.
There's my music teacher Mr. LaPrise doing the Hustle. The woman on the left is his then-fiance, now-wife.
There's Tony. He was in choir and the school musical with Dan and me. He was only a freshman at the time, but we both trained him to be as cynical as a senior. The training took effect quite well. He has a good head start in high school now.
This would be Zach. He used to like to set things on fire. Now he's part of the Coopersville volunteer fire department and he attends Aquinas College.

I think he still likes to set things on fire.
